I’m Raider1, the editor and webmaster of this website.
This website was born from listening to old recordings of Art Bell and Bill Cooper from the mid-90s and early 2000s. References to their early websites are defunct, so you’ve got to rely on your imagination or maybe something you remember from way back when.
Not anymore.
I have set my intentions to single-handedly restore some of this old content thanks to the magic of the Wayback Machine and Archive.org.
I have recreated pages from these websites as closely to the original experience as possible with working links and images wherever possible.
My hope is to introduce the wonder of talk radio and the early Internet to a new generation.
This was the Internet before Google and largely before paid advertising took over everything. Back then, most of the ads you saw supported the website, and hosts and webmasters had actual relationships with advertisers.
It was the Wild West and anything went!
Now in this new age of censorship, cancel culture, and control, RadioRaider.com hopes to be a beacon for the way we were and a sanctuary for yesterday.
We will boldly share the information.
We will name the names.
We will stand…and we’ll stand with you.
